How We Handle Returns at Napkinshop
## Your Right to Cancel
We understand that when shopping online, you can’t inspect items in person. That’s why we fully support your right to change your mind.
If you decide to cancel your order, you have **14 calendar days** from the day you receive your goods to let us know.
We will happily refund the **full cost of the items** along with the **basic delivery charge**, as required by UK law.
To cancel, you must notify us in writing via email or post. You may use our [Model Cancellation Form](/terms-and-conditions#model-cancellation-form), or simply send a clear message including your name, order number, and the items you wish to return.
## How to Return an Item
Once you have notified us of your cancellation, you must return the goods within **14 days** of doing so.
– Items must be returned in their **original, unused condition** and **securely packaged**.
– Return postage is the responsibility of the customer, unless otherwise agreed.
– Please retain proof of posting and use a **tracked service** if possible.

## Refunds
We will issue your refund within **14 days** of receiving the returned goods or proof of return.
– The refund will include the original item cost and the basic delivery cost (if charged).
– We may deduct from your refund if the goods show signs of use or damage beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
Refunds are made using the same payment method you used for your order.
## Exceptions
Please note that the following items are **non-returnable** unless faulty:
– **Customised or personalised items** (e.g. special-order products)
– Items that have been **used or altered**
– Goods that are **perishable** or cannot be returned for hygiene reasons
– Any goods that have been **mixed inseparably with other items after delivery**
